The Applications Support Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining various business applications used within 42 North Dental. This includes but not limited to making enhancements, validating new releases, setting up access to various systems for staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues, documenting processes and useful tips. This individual will be focused on managing the core applications while enabling a self-service model. With the changing technology landscape, this individual will adapt and implement special projects as needed.


  • Monitor and act on daily SQL database downloads and restores
  • Create new tables, stored procedures and functions as needed for enhancements
  • Modify existing tables, stored procedures and functions for new enhancements or modifications
  • Application support including set up of users, providers, password resets
  • Validate new features in applications
  • Work in team on data conversions as needed
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures.
  • Perform daily system monitoring like report completions
  • Work closely with vendors as needed to resolve issues.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Position will require phone, remote and potential on-site support.
  • Verify database and data integrity.
  • Participate in periodic meetings to discuss progress and issues to be resolved, and report progress.
  • Improve current state via innovation and outside-the-box thinking.


  • 1-2 years of prior experience in Application Support and/or Technical Support role.
  • Must have SQL database experience including database backups and restores, SQL, stored procedures, SSRS, SSIS
  • Prior experience to any business system like ERP, CRM is a plus
  • Reporting platform like Qlik or Tableau preferred
  • Self-starter, eager to learn quickly, ability to multi-task, clear and concise communication
  • Ability to analyze an issue and identify root cause quickly
  • Can-do attitude is a must
  • Bachelors is preferred but not required
  • Must think outside the box
  • A results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in building and maintaining successful networks and relationships with key leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
