Oral Surgery Assistant - Full Time

42 North Dental has been providing dental care in New England for over 40 years.  Become part of an oral surgery team providing excellence in surgical dental care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction.   The Oral Surgery Assistant will provide clinical support to the oral surgeon to facilitate the relationship between the patient and the dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patient and administrative staff to insure a positive patient experience.  Requires local travel between locations.  

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside surgical assisting
• Monitor patient vital signs
• Expose Radiographs
• Monitor patient postoperative
• Provide preoperative and post operative instruction
• Maintain protocols during IV sedation
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

• Knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology
• Strong verbal skills
• Calm and professional in stressful situations
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
