Accounts Payable Specialist

Our finance department is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a AP Specialist to join the Accounts Payable team. Reporting directly to the AP Supervisor, the role will work closely with vendors, operations and other centralized functions.

This position works in a Hybrid capacity

3 days per week in the Waltham, MA Corporate office

2 days per week remotely

55K to 65K pay range

Key Responsibilities: 

High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite are required for this position.

• Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring all payables are properly recorded;
• Assist with weekly subledger reporting and payment runs along with payment processing;
• Coordinate various workflows with external partners, ensuring that supporting documentation (invoices, approvals, etc.) is provided in compliance with existing policies;
• Support the AP supervisor with various automation projects such as expense reports, corporate credit cards.
• Support the AP team members during month-end;
• Compile and review year-end audit AP related samples.

Education/Certification: 

• 5+ years of relevant experience;

Required Knowledge: 

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel – required
• High proficiency NetSuite - required
• Self-starter with a keen attention to detail
