Our finance department is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the Payroll team. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, the role will work closely with operations, payroll provider and other centralized functions.

 

Local candidates only

This position can work in either in a Hybrid capacity of 3 days in our Waltham, MA Corporate Headquarters and two days remotely OR 5 days in our Waltham, MA Corporate Headquarters.

 

$70,000 to $80,000 Depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

· Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees in multiple states through ADP; including reviewing  administering regulatory requirements, and other adjustments to pay as necessary;

· Ensure payroll accuracy by completing thorough reviews of pay audit reports and making corrections as needed;

· Maintain financial controls and audit trails for all transactions and payroll cycles;

· Act as a liaison with other departments and practices to resolve and proactively prevent payroll issues;

· Maintain and update all records by reviewing and making changes to exemptions, insurance, deductions, paid time off, etc;

· Prepare payroll checks and various ADP reports;

· Develop best practices to improve efficiency of payroll processes; partner with Human Resources to continually enhance the    

  employee experience.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

 

- Certified payroll designation;

- 5+ years of relevant experience;

 

Required Knowledge:

 

- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll system – must haves.

  5 years plus ADP Payroll - multi-site and multiple payroll experience preferred.

  Proficient in Excel

 

- Self-starter with a keen attention to detail.
