The Regional Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will have responsibility for overseeing daily operations for 6 -10 multi-specialty group dental practices within a specific region. The Regional Manager supervises the practice managers (PMs) in partnership with the dental directors. The position will primarily be responsible to provide leadership, direction, and support to the office managers to ensure financial and operational success. As a Regional Operations Manager, they must also lead process communications, improvements and growth initiatives with full profit and loss responsibility (P&L). Deliverables will include gaining the trust and respect of office managers and directors, maintaining compliance to procedure and protocols in the office and providing strong financial results while keeping the focus on Patient Care and Patient Satisfaction. Regional travel is a must, as a consistent presence in the practices that they support is a critical component to sustained success of our business.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Achieving business goals, revenue and profitability objectives through a respectful, forward thinking and motivational style.
  • Profit and loss responsibility with the ability to interpret and act upon financial statements and drive financial accountability.
  • Conduct mandatory monthly reviews of P & L’s all practice KPI’s with Directors and PMs.
  • Create action plans the address operational opportunities with team alignment, accountability and follow-up.
  • Managing practice collections in concert with the Revenue Cycle Management Team to meet or exceed 98% company threshold.
  • Continuous assessment of all staffing needs and levels by providing guidance and support for Practice Managers.
  • Provide direction and support with driving effective recruitment for all positions within the region.
  • Providing training and development support to ensure all staff of supported practices demonstrate knowledge of business models, operating procedures and protocols.
  • Supporting daily office operations within the region when necessary.
  • Responding to clinical and operational concerns timely and effectively. Be accessible and responsive.
  • Supporting the achievement of performance targets & budgeted goals.
  • The RM will also add significant support to newly affiliated dental locations and drive their successful growth strategy through building strong partnerships.
  • Other related functions include compliance and health & safety as well as requests from the supported practice Directors and their teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience dental practice management.

Working knowledge of P&L.
Strong knowledge of dental practice management software.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Willingness to travel as required.
Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours.
Independent self-starter with the ability to work well with other team members
