Regional Hygiene Coach
The Regional Dental Hygiene Coach supports dental hygienists within a select group of offices partnered with 42 North Dental. The Regional Hygiene Coach provides guidance to hygienists in delivering high quality patient care by helping develop clinical patient assessments and patient communication in collaboration with the doctor and office team through communication and relationships.
The candidate will partner with both clinical and non-clinical teams to meet organizational goals, and will report to the 42 North Dental Director of Hygiene. This is a full-time position and involves 80%-90% regional travel. The candidate will need to live within driving distance of the assigned offices currently in NH, ME and Northern MA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Director of Hygiene, Regional Managers & Practice Managers, Regional Clinical Directors & Office Directors, and associates.
- Support the organization’s initiatives.
- Conduct hygienist candidate calls to discuss the organization’s philosophies and compensation structure.
- Conduct new hire hygienist orientation and onboarding.
- Work with local Hygiene Mentors to schedule shadowing as part of the onboarding process.
- Provide in-person training and coaching to hygienists within the delegated offices (or virtually if needed).
- Attend and participate in hygiene meetings, CE courses and trainings.
- Analyze and interpret Hygiene metrics, perform chart audits, and provide solutions to enhance delivery of patient care.
- Occasional evening and weekend communication with hygienists may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Possess dental hygienist license.
- Align with ADA and AAP guidelines and recommendations.
- Outstanding track record of providing quality patient care.
- Ability and willingness to coach, teach and mentor others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to be coached and adapt to change.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- Improve hygiene/doctor relationships within the offices.
- Maintain hygiene retention rate of 80%.
- Increase hygiene revenue/patient count.
- Increase preventative and therapeutic services.
- Develop/implement programs aligned with the ADA and AAP Standards of Care (including but not limited to):
- 65% Fluoride.
- 50% Periodontal therapy/maintenance rate. Full Benefits Package
