The Specialty Regional Manager oversees the specialty teams assigned to them for over 103 dental practices supported by 42 North Dental. In this role, you will introduce and maintain provider relationships including dental directors, associates and specialty providers with regional managers and practice managers across the organization. You will be responsible for supporting the best patient experience and driving revenue for assigned specialists to ensure production goals are met, and elevating the needs of the field to ensure our processes continue to evolve to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

 

  • Provides input and assessment of specialty needs by location and capacity constraints. 
  • Participates in candidate interviews and responds to prospective questions regarding the roles and responsibilities of a new provider. 
  • Solves and anticipates problems and develops solutions proactively. 
  • Completes comprehensive onboarding of all new doctors and supports them in having a red-carpet experience into the organization. 
  • Removes barriers, so the focus is on patient care and meeting goals; support the successful implementation of any departmental changes. 
  • Support the overall growth of the specialties department company wide. 
  • Responsible for hiring, performance management and termination of employees based on needs and demands of each specialty team. 
  • Manages staffing levels and temporary support for traveling teams. 
  • Actively builds relationships and gains support and trust of the Directors and Managers; carries through on tasks and acts where support is needed. 
  • Supports efficient supply ordering and inventory management; provides timely management of inventory and supplies needed for patient care. 
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for operational improvement and provides feedback to specialists and teams on patient satisfaction scores and reviews. 
  • Drives team to improve scores and reach targets; some direct patient communication may be involved for complex cases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant work experience in field 
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience 
  • 2-4 years of management experience with supervisory responsibilities including performance management, coaching, delegating and goal setting 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized; ability to think critically and respond to complex situations. 
  • Impeccable communication and ability to follow up in a timely manner. 
  • Exemplifies and applies a high set of ethical and moral principles, including confidentiality.
